The six winners of the Porch Music Store Coloring Contest at Forest Area Schools have been chosen! Entries were divided into two groups based on the two schools who participated – West Forest and East Forest. West Forest School had 44 entrants and East Forest School had 31 entrants, coming to a total of 75 entrants!
Each child who participated colored the “JoJo goes tent camping” coloring page from the Porch Music Store website, featuring JoJo with his canjo and tent next to a tree. Students in 1st to 6th grade used any coloring medium they preferred, including crayons and markers. Many added “extras”, putting their own spin on the image and showing fantastic creativity when completing their page! The winners are as follows:
East Forest:
- First Place: Peighton Trout, 3rd Grade
- Second Place: Tala Boozer, 6th Grade
- Third Place:Logan Melego, 3rd Grade
West Forest:
- First Place: Katherine Payne, 3rd Grade
- Second Place: Abbigale Bell, 1st Grade
- Third Place: Sage Schweitzer, 4th Grade
Porch Music Store will present prizes to the winners at the year-end elementary awards assembly at each school.
